Media Requests
Media representatives are required to request permission to record within a courtroom. The request must be made in writing to the judge or magistrate presiding over the court proceedings. Media applications must be made as far in advance as possible but not less than 30 minutes prior to the courtroom session to be recorded. For more information, please see Court Rule 7: Media.
To request permission to record, please fill out the Media Request Form and email it to the law clerk of the judge in which the case will be heard or submit it via fax. It is the discretion of the judge or magistrate to grant or deny the request.
