Mediator Part-Time (Job Share)
The Court is accepting applications for a job-share partner for the position of Mediator. This position is a part-time, job sharing position (20 hours/week). Screens and mediates select criminal and civil cases, working with attorneys and pro se parties to reach mutually satisfying case resolution. Must have the ability to work collaboratively and effectively to obtain resolutions based upon a consensus among parties. Assists in coordinating volunteer mediators. Bachelor’s degree required, with a specialization in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology preferred, but not required. Forty (40) hours mediation training preferred, but not required. One (1) year experience in direct client contact in a counseling or mediation role, required. Dispute Resolution or mediation experience preferred, but not required. Potential candidates must pass a background check. Must be LEADS certifiable. Start rate is $25.097 per hour. Full rate is $27.886 per hour.

COURT SERVICES SPECIALIST
Performs a full range of technical and administrative duties in support of special court services and courtroom operations. Responsible for resolving issues related to court services, programs and processes that serve courtrooms or the probation department. Completes intake processing, documents compliance, prepares documents and schedules court events. Strong skill in organizing work responsibilities in a demanding and fast-paced environment required. Associates Degree or completion of 60 semester hours toward a Bachelor Degree in criminal justice, social work, counseling, psychology, or related field, required. Two years work experience in court services, social services, paralegal or a related field, required. One (1) year prior court experience preferred, but not required. Interviewing skills, knowledge of the court, criminal justice system or community resources and/or experience involving complex scheduling preferred, but not required. Potential candidates must pass a background check. Must be LEADS certifiable. Starting salary $41,659.49. Full salary $46,288.32.
